QUICK + DEEPERYOUR SENS, ON TRIAL · MOUSE & KEYBOARD
Five sensitivities around yours, the same targets, about two minutes. The court finds the range where your aim holds up, then tells you to keep it, lower it or raise it.
It runs with a mouse in a desktop browser. Copy the link and open it on your PC, or use the calculator below right now.

DEEPER CHECKThe calculator works on any screen. The aim test needs a desktop browser, mouse and keyboard.
STEP 1 · YOUR SETUP
Use your usual DPI and current game sensitivity. Keep your normal grip. There is no right answer.
QUICK CHECK · ABOUT 2 MIN
One click to start, then follow the room. Full screen opens automatically. Escape pauses and keeps your finished tests. Leave Overwatch as it is for now.
THE VERDICT ·
STEP 4 · TAKE IT TO THE PRACTICE RANGE
This lab does not change game settings or guarantee competitive improvement. Browser input, field of view and game behavior can differ.
THE NUMBERS BEHIND THE FEEL
Your Overwatch hip-fire setting, in real-world units.
Mathematical estimate using 0.0066° per count per sensitivity unit. Horizontal hip-fire only; no scoped or controller conversion. Browser deltas are not guaranteed to be physical counts.
A LITTLE LESS GUESSWORK
A useful starting point. Room for your own judgment.
Start with your actual DPI and current game sensitivity. Our quick check tests five settings, from 40% below to 60% above yours, twice each with tracking and fast clicks, and finds the range where your aim holds up. If your sensitivity is inside that range, keep it. The deeper check compares a lower, baseline and higher setting with turns, tiny adjustments and finalist repeats. Familiarization happens before scoring.
It is the estimated mouse travel for one complete horizontal turn. A larger number means a lower sensitivity. We use cm/360 = 360 × 2.54 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × 0.0066). At 800 DPI and 5 sensitivity, that is about 34.64 cm/360, or 17.32 cm/180. Your mouse’s actual DPI and input processing can change the physical distance.
DPI describes the mouse’s reported counts per inch. In-game sensitivity scales those counts into rotation. Their product is eDPI, useful for comparing settings within the same game. Equal eDPI is a mathematical equivalence, not a promise of identical hardware or browser behavior.
Cassidy and Ashe put more weight on flicks, Soldier: 76 on tracking, Tracer on tracking and turns, and Ana on precision and micro adjustments. Unmapped heroes use equal weights. These are declared task priorities, not proven causal rules. Grip never determines your recommended sensitivity.
The lab requests unaccelerated Pointer Lock input when available. Two measured sweeps at different speeds can estimate browser scale. That check is user measured and does not certify hardware counts or Overwatch equivalence. Without it, the recommendation stays provisional. Focus changes, pauses and poor frame delivery discard the current block. Results are session comparisons, not skill percentiles or clinical confidence intervals.
Mouse trajectories are never saved or sent. Only bounded per-test summaries reach our stateless scoring endpoint; nothing is stored or logged by the lab. Refreshing clears your setup and results. Anonymous product events contain only their fixed event names, with no settings, heroes or scores.

AIM IS ONLY HALF OF IT
A comfortable sens won't fix a pool with holes. See where your hero pool gets exposed, or bring tonight's scoreboard to the court.
